Hi there! I’m Meaghan

Certified Health Coach, NASM Certified personal trainer, 200hr yoga instructor, and LVT. I love animals, being in nature and eating yummy food.

My mission is to create a space where others feel motivated and supported in making healthy changes. Whether breaking free from dieting rules, practicing self-care, enjoying delicious food, or embracing body love, I am here to guide and inspire you on your journey to wellness.

Why? Because I have been there (blaming and shaming myself for eating the “bad” food and overthinking the possible weight-related consequences); and done that (starting my diet and exercise program on Monday morning and counting the days until I can indulge again.) crazy dieting cycle too many times to count in the past.

For me, the dieting cycle began in college and continued for about 3 years after I became a personal trainer. From my observations, emphasizing weight loss and enforcing strict dietary rules transformed what should be a straightforward and beneficial form of self-care into a stressful and worrisome obligation with my self-worth tied to it.

Gratefully, I was able to see my emotional overeating, overexercising, and guilt-tripping habits for what they were. Shifting my perspective allowed me to create sustainable healthier habits, and let go of needless suffering.

😋 Now I'd like to hold space for others to do the same!

Why Motivated With Meg?

I believe that true wellness starts with a deep understanding and connection with ourselves. By focusing on mindfulness and an inside-out approach to self-care practices, we can nurture our bodies and minds in an authentic and sustainable way. This space is designed to help you discover what truly nourishes you, beyond the traditional dieting rules and exercise programs.

My Philosophy

is centered around the belief that everyone deserves to have a positive and healthy relationship with food and their bodies. I believe that most of us who were sucked into the dieting world have forgotten what it was like to trust our bodies. So instead of dieting, I encourage the practice of intuitive eating. Which, put simply, means listening to and honoring your body, while also permitting yourself to enjoy all types of food, without guilt or shame.

My Goal

is to hold space for those who want to create sustainable change, from the inside out. To shine a light on diet mentality and diet culture, and how most don’t actually help you become healthy.
